El Paso, TX

El Paso is an interesting little town.  It's very crowded and has a lot of traffic.  The interesting thing is you can look right into Mexico!  The Border Patrol is out in full force.  There's a large fence and barbed wire to keep people from coming over the border.  When you see the homes in Mexico, at least the ones right there by El Paso, you'll see why they want to come to the United States for a better life.

This fence separates El Paso, Texas from Juarez, Mexico

Border Patrol everywhere!

When you are travelling anywhere on an interstate in Texas, New Mexico, and Arizona, this is a very common sight; the Border Patrol has these checkpoints set up all over.   You must stop and they ask you where you are from.
